The Calgary Flames Ambassadors  Bursary

The Calgary Flames Ambassadors are excited to offer a bursary in support of students in need who are currently pursuing their career in the skilled trades.

Calgary Flames Ambassadors Bursary Student Criteria:

• Currently registered in apprenticeship and enrolled technical training at a college, polytechnic institution, or industry training provider, within 100km radius of Calgary, AB.
• Has one or more dependents
• Submits a 250 word paragraph as outlined in the bursary application

*Applicants must provide proof of enrollment in their application.

The goal of the Calgary Flames Ambassadors Bursary is to support and remove barriers for apprentices. This bursary is available to anyone who is pursuing their journeyperson status at any level of technical training, and a maximum of one bursary per year will be awarded. The $1,000 bursary can be used to pay for living, education, and work-related expenses such as rent, bills, groceries, gas, books, tools, boots, safety gear, etc. while in school for apprenticeship education.

The Calgary Flames Ambassadors are a group of approximately 50 business individuals who represent the Calgary Flames in the community and support various fundraising initiatives for the Calgary Flames Foundation charity.
